You will receive a reminder 14 days prior to the respective installment due dates. Customers are responsible for ensuring on-time payments.

Day 1… You will arrive in Atlanta GA from London Heathrow in the late afternoon, you will be met at the airport by ground transportation and brought to your hotel in Marietta GA. Once checked in and settled you will be invited to a buffet supper in order that we can all get to know one another and we will give you an overview of what to expect and we will cover a few safety aspects of your vacation.

Day 2… After breakfast, ground transportation will take you to the bike rental center, where you will receive orientation on your particular machine and once we are all comfortable with our bikes we will set off heading north out of Marietta then west crossing into Alabama and then into Tennessee, stopping to look around Lynchburg TN before finishing up at our hotel for the night in Tullahoma TN. The ride will be a good mix of fast interstate followed by some great twisties as we cross the foothills of the mountains.

Day 3… First stop of the day will be back in Lynchburg, for a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery before heading out west towards Memphis TN, the riding today will be a little faster and more straightforward as Tennessee flattens out as we leave the mountains and head towards the banks of the Mississippi. We should arrive in Memphis in the mid- afternoon, our downtown hotel will put most of the attractions of this wonderful city in easy walking distance, and we will be there in plenty of time to get to the weekly “Bike Night” on Beale Street.

Day 4… This is a free day for you to explore all that Memphis has to offer, Gracelands, Sun Studios, Stax Records, the Gibson Les Paul guitar factory, the National Civil Rights museum set at the motel where Dr. Martin Luther King jr. was assassinated, the enormous Bass Pro Shops silver pyramid store (a revelation to UK visitors ) or you can just take a leisurely paddle boat ride down the Mississippi.

Day 5…A relatively short ride today, heading northeast out of Memphis we will stay off the interstate as much as possible to our destination of Dickson TN which will put us halfway between Nashville TN and the Loretta Lynn ranch, which is the venue for Nashville’s first ever bike week, we will arrive to be able to enjoy the opening weekend of the activities or go into Nashville.

Day 6…The second free day for you to explore all that Nashville has to offer, a must if you are a country music fan, The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, The Johnny Cash museum and the Willie Nelson museum, along with as much country and bluegrass music as you can take in all the great bars and clubs in downtown Nashville, or if you prefer, you can take a short ride to either the Loretta Lynn Ranch, to enjoy the bike rally, or to some of the many civil war sites and plantations nearby.

Day 7…The longest ride of the tour and unfortunately the longest stretch of interstate on the tour, as we leave Nashville heading east back towards the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. As we start getting into the higher elevations the intensity of the curves increases, with our ride culminating at the world famous “Tail of the Dragon”, a stretch of road that is just 11 miles long with 318 curves. We should arrive here mid afternoon and as our hotel is just 2 miles from the end of The Dragon you will have plenty of time to tame it again, if you wish.

Day 8… Leaving The Dragon behind us we take another of North Carolina’s most notable scenic rides, The Cherohala Skyway, as we zig-zag south,in and out of Tennessee, before crossing into Georgia, arriving at our destination, Helen GA. Helen is a little out of place in the southern Appalachians, being an architect’s idea of a little bit of Bavaria in the mountains, it has come to be populated by many people of German and Dutch descent who have created authentic restaurants and bierkellers in the town.

Day 9… Just a short final ride through the foothills along some beautiful twisty roads as we come down back towards Marietta, to leave some lasting memories of your short adventure with us, before a short interstate run into Marietta to return your bikes. Ground transportation will meet you at the rental center to take you back to Atlanta Airport in plenty of time for you to do a little duty free shopping before heading back to the UK with our hopes that you will have had a memorable vacation here in the USA.

Day 10…Following your overnight flight back across the Atlantic you should arrive back in the UK mid morning at London Heathrow, ready to head back to reality.

Day 1… You will arrive in Atlanta GA from the UK in the late afternoon, you will met at the airport by ground transportation that will take you to your hotel in Marietta GA. Once checked in and settled you are invited to a buffet supper in order that we can all get to know one another, we will give you an overview of what you should expect along the way and also cover a few safety aspects of your vacation with us.

Day 2… After breakfast, ground transportation will take you to the bike rental center, where you will receive orientation on your particular machine and once we are all comfortable with our bikes we will set off heading north out of Marietta on a short 130 mile ride to Chattanooga TN. We will stop for a lunch break at around the mid point of the ride, which should put us arriving in Chattanooga mid afternoon. We will be staying at the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel, a tour and tasting has been arranged at the Chattanooga Distillery which is just across the road. For your evening, free electric shuttle buses will take you to downtown, where you can enjoy the river walk and the abundance of Civil War history in the town,or you can take advantage of the wide variety of entertainment available around the hotel.

Day 3… We will leave Chattanooga heading north into the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains on what will be if the weather co-operates, an incredibly scenic and challenging ride to Cherokee NC. Along the way, you will get to ride the World Famous “Tail of the Dragon” an 11 mile stretch of US129 that straddles the Tennessee and North Carolina state line, has 318 curves and elevation changes just to make it a little more interesting. We will be stopping at the Deals Gap motorcycle resort at the end of the Dragon for lunch and to compare notes, don’t forget to visit the tree of shame, where the remains of many failed trips along the Dragon are hung from the branches for all to see! Cherokee NC is at the heart of The Eastern Band of the Cherokee’s Qualla Boundary, we will be there when they are holding their annual Pow Wow, a festival of traditional costume, music and dance, a spectacle unlike anything you may have ever seen before.  In the evening you will be able to go to their outdoor drama “Unto These Hills” which has been performed every summer for over 40 years, attend a story telling event around the bonfire, or visit the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.

Day 4… Today is yours to enjoy, there will be a lot going on in Cherokee itself, it will be the main competition day at the Pow Wow, we highly recommend the Occonoluftee Indian Village, and the Museum of the Cherokee, there is also a wide range of Indian art, craft and  jewelry galleries in the town. If you wish to explore a little further afield, about an hour to the east, in Maggie Valley NC there is one of the best motorcycle museums that I have ever been to, The Wheels Through Time, or if you prefer, head west into The Great Smokey Mountains National Park, the most visited National Park in the USA, for some spectacular mountain roads and destinations such as Gattlinburg TN or Pidgeon Forge TN ( the home of Dolly Parton’s  “Dollywood” theme park).

Day 5… We will spend the whole day enjoying the beauty and incredible riding offered on the Blue Ridge Parkway, getting on it at it’s southern tip just 2 miles outside Cherokee, staying on it to our destination which is just south of the Virginia State line. The Parkway varies in elevation from about 3000 ft above sea level up to around 6000 ft at it’s highest point near Grandfather Mountain, we will stop at a few of the better scenic overlooks along the way to give you all photo opportunities.

Day 6… We will start to head back south today, our destination will be the beautiful city of Asheville, home to over 20 craft breweries, the largest privately owned house in the USA, a vibrant night life and an excellent arts and crafts community. Most of our riding today will be in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing a mix of ever changing countryside and twisting roads, all the time trying to avoid the Interstate roads as much as possible. In the evening we have arranged a guided mini bus tour around up to 5 of the local breweries with tours and tastings at each stop included.

Day 7… Today will be yours to enjoy as you please, in Asheville you can visit Biltmore, a 250 room mansion built in the 1890’s for George Vanderbilt. one of the pioneers of the railroads that helped expansion into the west. It sits on almost 8000 acres and among the features that you can enjoy there, are a winery and stables with riding trails. If you wish to take a trip out of town, Boone, Blowing Rock and Linville Falls are a short ride to the north, and if you didn’t take the opportunity to visit Maggie Valley while we were in Cherokee, it is about an hour ride to the west.

Day 8… We will be heading south through the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains, leaving North Carolina in the rear view mirror as we cross back into Georgia. Our destination today is Helen GA, a town that is a little out of place in Southern Appalachia, that exists because an architect wanted to create a slice of Bavaria in the Georgia mountains, he obviously did a good job as the town is inhabited by many people of German and Dutch descent who have created authentic restaurants, bakeries and bierkellers in the town.

Day 9… Just a short 120 mile trip back to Marietta, where it all started a little over a week ago. Some beautiful twisty mountain roads that should leave you with some lasting memories of your short adventure with us. Once your bike has been returned, ground transportation will take you back to Atlanta Airport in plenty of time for you to do a little duty free shopping before heading back to the UK with our hopes that we have provided you with lasting memories of a great vacation here in the USA, and that we may see you again on a future tour.

Day 10… Following your overnight flight back across the Atlantic, you will arrive in the UK, ready for the trip to where ever home may be and back to reality.

For clients who live elsewhere in Europe or here in the USA who would prefer to make their own way to the starting point of our tour,  we now have prices available that exclude the return flights and ground transportation to and from the airport.

Day 1… You will arrive in Minneapolis MN from Manchester UK in the early evening, where you will be met by ground transportation that will bring you directly to your hotel in the Minneapolis suburbs. Once checked in you are invited to a buffet supper in order that we can all get to know one another and we will give you an overview of what to expect along with a few safety aspects associated with your vacation.

Day 2… After breakfast, ground transportation will be waiting to take you to the motorcycle rental center, where you will receive orientation on your particular machine, once everyone is comfortable with their bikes, we will set off heading west out of Minneapolis. Our ride today will not touch any Interstate roads, so you will see alot of what life in the rural areas of northen states in the USA looks like. We will be covering just under 300 miles today finishing our ride in Mitchell South Dakota which is home to the world’s only “Corn Palace”.

Day 3… Another full day of riding today will take us to our destination of The Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis South Dakota. We will start out heading north west out of Mitchell, to a lunch stop in the state capital of Pierre South Dakota. Crossing the Missouri River and heading towards the mountains in the distance, the riding will become more varied, more elevation changes and different scenery. Our ride today will be just over 300 miles, and on arrival at the campground we will provide you with your camping equipment, this will be home for the next 6 nights.

Days 4 through 8 (inclusive)… This is your time to enjoy all that Sturgis and The Black Hills have to offer, there will be almost non stop action happening at the Chip, various competitions, biker rally games, and bike shows throughout the week during the day, and great concerts at night, all are available to you. If you want to go out to explore, you can create day rides that can combine attractions such as Mount Rushmore or Crazy Horse, The Devil’s Tower, Lead gold mine, cowboy towns like Deadwood or Hulett, battle sites at Wounded Knee or Little Big Horn, with roads that will challenge both your skill and your senses, and stun you with their natural beauty. We will only take one day out of your time, as we will take you on one of the celebrity hosted bike rides, we will hope to get you on the Mayor’s ride or the Legends ride, which always seem to be very well supported and are part of the rally’s culture. We will provide maps and information to you in advance of you getting to Sturgis, so that you have time to best work out the things that you most want to see. As previously stated all the entertainment at the Chip is included in your package with us but if you see something happening elsewhere in Sturgis or the surrounding area, the Buffalo Chip operates it’s own party shuttle almost all day and night, so if you want to go downtown, or to gamble in the casinos in Deadwood, and enjoy a drink without the worry of drink driving, that too is taken care of.

We want to be available to you to give you the benefit of our previous experiences at the rally and in the area, but are very consious of the fact that this is your vacation, we want you to have the freedom to do all that you want, but will do our best to give you information on everything that will be available to you so that you can make the most informed decision.

Day 9… We will pack up our camping gear and start heading back east. We will leave the Black Hills for this year through the Badlands National Park, if you have a “Go-Pro” camera this is where you will want it. We will ride through about 30 miles of the most unique landscape that you will find anywhere on the planet, We will stop at about 4 or 5 overlooks that have been recommended to me as being of particular interest by the Park Rangers, so you will have photo opportunities, but trust me if you have a camera mounted on your helmet as you ride by, you will catch scenes that if we stopped everytime you wanted to take a photo, we would spend more than the full day there! We will leave the Badlands and stop for a break at a little place called Wall, home of a mercantile store that has built it’s reputation by advertising up to 500 miles away along I-90, you see the billboards so often you just have to stop out of curiosity. Here they will do their best to persuade you that the state animal of South Dakota is a mysterious creature called a Jackalope, a rabbit with antlers! To convince you further there are hundreds of them mounted on the wall of the store for sale. Leaving Wall we will head for our overnight stop in Pierre, a total of about 260 miles for the day.

Day 10… Today we will cover about 300 miles, leaving South Dakota behind and riding through the agricultural heartland of western Minnisota. We should arrive at our last overnight stop of the tour in Olivia Minnisota in the early evening, our hotel for the night has a great restaurant and bar where we can share our thoughts on what we hope will have been a great experience.

Day 11… Just a short 90 mile run into Minneapolis this morning, to return your bikes. Afterwards we will take you for some lunch before your transportation arrives to take you back to the airport in plenty of time to make your flight home.

Day 12… Following your overnight Trans-Atlantic flight you will hopefully arrive back in Manchester before mid day, to make your way back to where ever home may be, with our very best wishes for safe travel and the hope that you will consider us for your vacation choice in the future.

For clients who live elsewhere in Europe or here in the USA who would prefer to make their own way to the starting point of our tour,  we now have prices available that exclude the return flights and ground transportation to and from the airport.
